Conferencia “ACU-YOGA”

Acu-Yoga

nos cuenta sobre su ponencia.

Conference: Yoga & Bhāva

Yatho Hasta Tatho Drishti, Yatho Drishti Tatho Manaha,

Yatho Manaha Tatho Bhava, Yatho Bhava Tatho Rasah.

Wherever the hand goes ,there should the eyes, wherever the eyes are there should be the mind, where there is mind involved there evolves the bhava (feeling/attitude)  and where there is bhava there is rasa (essence).  Rasa is experienced.

Yoga classes with Shraddha go beyond the Asanas, and bring perspective to the attitude (Bhāva) behind every Asana.  Bāhvas Lead to a deeper understanding of the higher consciousness

A classical Hatha Yoga class with Shraddha delves into not only the Ashtanga Yoga technique, but also the Yoga Sutras to help you unleash you true potential.

Conference: Incorporating the natures 5 elements into our yoga practice

The nature is comprised of five basic elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Space. We find this in all aspects of life and in all things. While it’s easy to discuss the role of earth, water, fire, air and even space play in our daily lives, there is also great benefit to engaging with them on a deeper, more personal level. When applying the five elements to your yoga practice, you have the ability to not only better connect with nature, but to also engage the meaningful characteristics of each within yourself.

We considered each element separately, and how each one related to our senses; how the element made us feel. Our discussion then included what the element is associated with, it’s qualities, and asanas that support the element during yoga practice.

The 5 Elements yoga classes can help to expand the practice, open the mind and become a stronger, more creative and centered individual.

Masterclass: YOGA - Back then & Now

A sequence of Asanas, a few breathing techniques and carefully designed restorative postures

concluded by a deep relaxation. The session will have its main focus on the subtle games that our mind plays during our spiritual pursuit or Sadhana.

We live in the century of Information explosion, therefore DATA has a very important role to play in the way we conduct ourselves in daily lives. The facilitator shall elaborate on the term " Aahaar " which in the India context means anything that we intake in the form of data. It may range from the foods that we eat (with a special focus on "coffee") to stimulate our tongue to the music that we hear to stimulate our sensory organ. It includes the things that we touch or perceive and the visual data that we receive.

What impact does it have on our mind?

Shyju Varkey

His journey began, while he was still navigating the boardrooms in Corporate India as the Chief Operating Officer of one of India’s best known radio companies. A one month break in the Himalayas to do a yoga course, in 2014, has now resulted in him setting aside a month every year to travel within.  As a student, he went on to do the Inner engineering Course at Isha, a ten day course at Vipasana as well as the Advanced Teachers Training Course and two Sadhana Intensives at Sivananda. As a teacher, he has gone back to assist in both the TTC and the ATTC courses at Sivananda ashrams, in addition to conducting workshops at one of India’s leading management schools.

Committing to help people strengthen themselves from within also led him to complete a course in Life Coaching, accredited to the International Coaching Federation.

Two decades of walking through the Corporate hallways of Bangalore, India’s Silicon Valley, has given Shyju an intimate understanding of what drives stress in today’s workforce

He has simplified the time tested techniques of yoga and the psychology of coaching, to help strengthen minds by guiding people to travel inwards.

Participants in his online workshops includes  individuals as far flung as California, Dubai, Singapore and Brunei, in addition to different cities in India.

The Covid lockdown has now seen him conduct online workshops for individuals as far flung as California, Dubai, Singapore and Brunei, in addition to different cities in India.

Conference: Simplifying Yoga  to counter Stress

Contrary to belief, yoga is not about the 84 asanas that exist. Asanas are just a means to the end of the ultimate goal, which is to reveal to you your best possible version, your innermost self. Your inner self and your outer shell – the mask that you wear - have become two completely different entities now, unable to recognise one another. The farther the distance between the two, the weaker the connect and more the probability of stress ruling your life.

If your body is a temple, your innermost self is the deity. Yoga helps you reconnect the two by building a bridge between them.

There are 6 key requirements involved in strengthening the temple that is your body.

Good Ventilation, which is the breath

Bright Sunlight, which is circulation

Ergonomic Design, which is the core

Pristine, which is the spine

Proper Drainage, which is the hip

A Balanced Priest, which is the mind

In this masterclass, we will explore 3 of the above

Simplifying Yoga to combat stress

Conferenece:Uncover the Guru inside

We were trained to follow and trust authorities like parents, teachers and masters.

We were also trained to follow rules and belief systems that don’t fit in the way we see things, life, etc. We were trained, finally, not to listen to our inner voice and develop self confidence to better rule our life.  In time where anyone with some skills and knowledge can attract people, it is our duty to discriminate (viveka) what is written or said.

Of course people are free to share and teach what they think might be usefull. And it is our highest responsability to stay vigilant and question any idea or thought and even doubt.

We are living an era of confusion because of the incredible amount of information spread around the world.  It’s time to better master listening to the Guru inside.
