Danielle is inspired by the yogic precept of Ahimsa, or non-harming, through our thoughts, words and actions, and believes this to be the foundation for self-healing and global healing. She uses the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to guide others towards greater balance, health and happiness. This includes using food as medicine, realigning with Mother Nature, and cultivating inner harmony and deep listening through yoga asana, pranayama and meditation.
Since 1997, Danielle has been practicing yoga and has spent many years practicing and studying Tibetan Buddhism, and living in yogic communities. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner through Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda, Hatha and Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Reiki Practitioner currently living in the Pacific Northwest. She is deeply grateful to her many teachers including Vasant Lad, Sarita Shrestha, Baba Hari Dass, Sangeet Kaur Khalsa, Yogi Amandeep Singh and Dr. Joel and Michelle Levey.
